Education Is Prevention
We are all troubled when we hear about another loss of a home or business due to a fire. There are many causes of fires and each one typically relates to human interaction.
These statistics are pulled from the U.S. Fire Statistics website. It shows the primary cause of fires is due to Cooking (50.8%) & Heating (10.8%).
With this in mind, it’s important that we as humans are cognizant of what is going on in our own homes when appliances are turned on.
We advise that you never leave a stove on while in the other room or turn on an oven and walk away. We want all of our customers & local residents to be safe and take precautionary measures.
